The Big Four

Baby Girl is going to be four years old tomorrow. I was completely fine during her birthday party on Saturday night. I was fine this morning when she came into our room and told us that, "I had the most WONDERFUL birthday party, Mommy and Daddy."

Tonight when I tucked her in, I told her that she was going to be four years old when she wakes up tomorrow morning. She gasped with absolute joy and said, "Oh Mommy, I can't WAIT to wake up tomorrow morning!"

I've been crying ever since.

So very sweet.

Yeah, it goes by so fast. Seems like yesterday I was just finding out I was pregnant for the first time. I can relate...

Happy birthday to your daughter! That looks like an awesome cake!

I can't even imagine four. I thought two would never come, and now we're already half way through it!

Oh Happy, Happy Day, Big Girl! Four is a wonderful age and I hope you enjoy every single day of it.

Don't worry, four ROCKS. They gain so much more control over themselves, are better able to communicate, and they learn so quickly. Four is good. So much better than three.

Four made me cry, too, with both boys. It's like the offical End Of Babydom, and even though I was counting the days, I was sad to see it go.

She's such a cute four, though. Happy belated birthday!

It's okay, it really is!!

We're having kiddo's next birthday party at a nail salon!!! See what you have to look forward to?

I'll admit to being super sad that the princess wear stays in the toybox pretty much all the time these days, but I have to say I'm thinking 7 is going to be a good year.

My son is 3 and 1/2, and I swear, his third birthday was, like, last month.

They say that when you have kids, the days are long but the years are short. Man, that sucks.

Happy Birthday, cutie!
