"Mommy, how do you spell, 'Santa Claus?'"
I told her. A few minutes later, Ella asked, "Mommy, how do you spell, 'microphone?'"
I told her.
"What are you doing over there? I asked.
"Oh, I 'm making my list for Santa. How do you spell 'Barbie and the Diamond Castle Doll?'"
I told her. A few minutes after that, Ella asked, "Mommy, how do you spell, 'my own couch and tv in my room?'"
While I didn't spell that, "N-E-V-E-R," I did tell her that she would not be getting a couch and television in her bedroom.
"But Mommy, I have plenty of room, and it would be so nice to have a couch in my room. And a tv. So that I could watch whatever I want, when I want."

have you ever seen those little couches for kids that sort of pull out and make into a bed? totally cool for little kids. as far as the tv? meh. but the couch i could see. a great place for her to stretch out and read a book.
how old is miss ella now?
i dont think my kids got a tv for their own playroom til they were in like 3rd and 4th grade.
N-E-V-E-R! Love it! :) Or, you could have told her, "w-h-e-n-y-o-u-h-a-v-e-a-j-o-b..."
better than asking for a phone.
I'm very impressed with the pictures!

I just saw this post for a great barbie deal & I had to go back through the blogs that I read to see who had a daughter that wanted Barbie with the diamond castle thing. Maybe this is what she wanted & it is a great price.

My daughter is 3.5 and this is the first times she's ever asked for specific things. In short, she wants *everything*.
I hope you hang onto to that list for your little girl. She'll get a kick out of it when she's older!!
Sweet! I was wonderign what to get Ella for Christmas. :)
