A few minutes ago I went upstairs to see if Baby Girl was awake from her nap. When I opened the door, she was under her comforter. When I moved the comforter, I noticed she had a large stack of diapers in her lap from the top of the dresser.
"What are you doing with all of those diapers, Baby Girl?" I asked, laughing.
"Because it's raining. And. And. And my dolly is sleeping. And Daddy is at work. And I really miss Gramma. Are we going to school?I want a snack.May I have aminal crackers?May I paint? Is Diego on tv? Where's Peaches?"
And then she started to cry.

It just makes me want to hug her! Or you! Poor baby. It's so hard to be three.
Awww, poor thing. We've GOT to get her and the Hethan together. Alleviate some of her loneliness... Hethan misses his Nanny (Gramma) lots too... they can pull out diapers together and commiserate about grandparents that live too far away. :)
I'm jealous BabyGirl still takes a nap. Hazel will have "quiet time" in her room for about an hour, but she won't sleep (unless she's sick), although she still really *needs* to sleep.
By 4:00 she's stumbling and whining and exhausted, a walking NIGHTMARE, and it's hard to get her to stay awake until bedtime.
It totally sucks.
I'm glad you're not bringing her here in March, because I do believe I'd squish her to death with love. And that could be messy.
Awww...so many thoughts at once!
Sorry, Misfit. Sounds like a tough day. But that story cracked me up!
It's so pitiful when they have SOOO much to say and can't help but let it all out at once! Poor Peaches, poor you....
Awwww. I`ve had days like that, too, in which I`ve wanted to crawl into bed with a large stack of diapers (and a bottle of vodka).
Awww...how sweet! She had a lot on her mind, and it all came spilling out at once.
Very cute story.
Rainy days are always the pits!
And it sucks when you're friends are all sleeping and ya have no one to talk to or play with. She shoulda got that doll baby up..she don't need to be sleepin' that long.
I hope she's enjoying the snow today-as nasty as it is.
Oh, poor baby. When I have days like that I go for the chocolate.
Awwww...Let the cuddling ensue.
Yeah that sounds about right.
Wow. Poor girl was overstimulated by diapers. Was this at the beginning or the end of her nap?
Just give her a few years until she gets hormonal and cries over a coffee commercial on TV. Or maybe that's just me :o)
It was the end of her nap. And if you're talking about the Folger's Christmas commercial where Johnny comes home for the holidays, I'm right there with you about the crying stuff.
I'm impressed that she's able to articulate this well. Poor Baby Girl!
Sometimes my 3 year old gets frustrated, starts stammering, and then yells something random like "The cat started chasing the apples! And I was chasing the, the, the BASKET! Is that funny Mommy? Mommy?"
I want to say "Funny 'ha, ha' or funny 'weird' son?"
That's pretty cute. I like to store diapers in my bed too. But for different reasons. What those reasons are is kind of personal. I just don't want to talk about it. Please don't ask me. Really. I'm going to link to you on my blog though cause you make me laugh.
Thanks, Stefanie!
Maybe she's pmsing.
NIIIIIICE huge title box! Sweet!
So cute! I'm linking you too, because you have quite the way with telling a story. I'll also be praying for your Crabgrass to someday resemble Peaches instead.
