Checklist for Saturday 8 AM Weight Watchers Weigh-In

Friday Evening

Stop eating after 8 PM with the exception of a handful of Husband's popcorn (it IS fiber!)

Saturday Morning

Wake Up
Pee
Make really strong coffee
Wash face but do NOT moisturize until later in the morning
Decide not to shower as wet hair weighs more
Sit in bathtub and shave legs. Again, do not moisturize until later
Shave pits
Contemplate deodorant. Decide it is best for all if some is applied.
File fingernails
Clip and clean toenails
Clean ears
Trim up split-ends (it needs to be done anyway)
Drink 2 large cups of coffee
Go back to the bathroom--coffee is where it's AT!
Decide between sweat absorbing tank top or lightweight t-shirt (will be working out after weigh-in and they weigh the same)
Cut tags off of new work-out shorts. What's this? An elastic string that I can remove from the waist? Perfect!
Remove wedding ring, diamond ring, charm bracelet and watch
Decide that it is OK to wear a ponytail holder, but not the large barrette
Look in drawer for thinnest socks
Stop drinking 30 minutes before weigh-in
Pee one more time before leaving house


Go to weigh-in and ignore the people staring as I remove ponytail holder with one hand and use the other hand to keep shorts from falling off.

"Congrats Misfit Hausfrau. You are down 2.8 lbs this week!"


AWWWWWWWW YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!

It's all about the planning, isn't it? And the coffee. Lots of strong coffee . . . (The removal of the drawstring had me laughing, too.)

2.8, in one week!?! Wow. I'm so impressed. And I'm sure it all came down to the drawstring and ponytail holder.

I think I've lost 2.8 pounds in the entire 7 months since I had the twins. Go go go!!!!! Apparatly, eating your own hair wih ranch dressing WORKS!!!

Anytime I think I'm gettin on a scale I shave my legs too. Feel lighter-I dunno. I just do it.

Congrats on you losing weight. That is such a hard struggle. Good job girl!

As a WW alum this is hysterical to me! I always went to evening weigh-ins though, so I just had to wait till after to eat dinner. I should probably start going again.

I should have asked this before, but did you REALLY take the ponytail holder out? I so hope you did . . .

And I'm with SweetViolets--no olives. We can have dirty martinis, with just the olive JUICE in them. (Okay, that's gross. Even I think it's gross. Sorry).

Hey Susan--I really DID take my ponytail holder out--stupid, I know. I also made them reweigh me because I realized my sunglasses were on the top of my head. The nice lady didn't even blink an eye. I think they see this sort of psychotic behavior regularly!
